With over 20 years in engineering we have designed the HUSSIE range of trailers to exceed the expectations of the NZ consumer and many of these features are unique to HUSSIE.

• Stiffer Stronger Drawbars lengthened for optimal towing and reversing.

• Heavier tubing sections used throughout the Chassis and Drawbar.

• Solid Steel Axles

• Slip Resistant Checker Plate Deck, Guards and Draw Bar Plate.

• Hot Dip Galvanizing throughout

• Decks are Welded (not riveted like other manufacturers) which adds Strength.

• Trailer Sides are Welded or Bolted (most others are just riveted).

• Adjustable Catches on Tilt Mechanism, Tailgates and Cages.

• Heavy Duty Checker plate Mudguards are Welded (not Riveted).

• All Single Axle Trailers are balanced to Tilt with just a fingertip.

• All Trailers Come Standard with Jockey Wheels, a Spare Tire and LED Tail lights.

• All Models have been widened around 80mm to improve loading. (Allows you to get sheets of Gib in with room for your fingers too)

 

The New Zealand consumer is quite different to consumers in other parts of the world. Trailers are shared between family and friends and are often expected to carry larger loads than they should.

The main players in this market are the Mega retailers like Bunning’s, Mitre10 and Placemakers .....but all their trailers are much the same … lightweight handyman trailers !!

We have developed our trailers to sell at similar retail price points but obviously a better trailer is going to cost a little more.
