Designed to be Useful, even when not carrying a car, our Tandem Axle Transport trailer has a Solid Steel Chequer Plate Deck extra strong frame and a 3500kg Axle set. It has been designed to carry a 2 ton Load with ease. As a flat deck trailer you can use it for moving house, carrying Hay or whatever else that suits…and when you need to transport a vehicle you’re good to go!

Our Tandem axle car trailer comes standard with Disk Brakes. Without these, you are limited to the weight you can tow behind your vehicle, usually 750kg. Depending on your vehicle’s legal load limit, with trailer brakes you can tow up to 2000kg or even more. Don’t expect your Lada to handle this kind of load…but don’t limit your towing ability to the maximum un-braked load capacity.

The New Zealand consumer is quite different to consumers in other parts of the world. Trailers are shared between family and friends and are often expected to carry larger loads than they should. We are limited to the weights we can tow un-braked so all HUSSIE Tandem Transport Trailers come with Disc Brakes at no extra cost.

The main players in this market are professional trailer manufacturers across the country. Although we respect their trailer building abilities, we believe HUSSIE Car trailers have superior points of difference which will increase your satisfaction when you buy from us.

We have developed our trailers to sell at similar retail price points but obviously a better trailer is going to cost a little more.
